Accelerated Reader (AR) is the reading program that students and teachers use at the middle school. Prior to checking out any library books, each student is tested to determine their reading level.  The reading levels and point values are rated by a scale called ATOS.  Most of the books in the library are AR and are labeled with level and point information.
