Recommended time students should work on assignments per day:

These assignments should not take more than 1 ½ -2 hours this week. (Depending on how long it takes to complete the reading.)

Basic Parent Directions for the Assignment this Week:

1.  “Active and Passive Voice” – Students should review the notes and watch the video before beginning the IXL assignment.

2.. IXL N.1 – students access their IXL account and complete 8^th grade N.1 (Identifying Active and Passive Voice). In order for the assignment to be deemed “complete,” students must score at least an 80 on the assignment.

3. The Wednesday Wars (pdf of book link under “other helpful information.” Students can access the link by clicking on it and the book will load. Students need to read the remainder of the book over the next week and a half. 20 minutes a day should suffice to finish. Students may also access the audio of the book as needed.

2. Once students have finished reading The Wednesday Wars, they can access the Final Assessment with the link provided above.
