These assignments should not take more than 1 ½ hours this week. (Depending on how long it takes to complete the reading.)

Basic Parent Directions for the Assignment this Week:

1. The Wednesday Wars (pdf of book and audio link under “other helpful information.” Students can access the link by clicking on it and the book and/or audio will load. Students can read Chapter 5 (January) all in one day or read 10 – 15 minutes each day.

2. AFTER reading Chapter 5, students will take a quick Quizzes for review. (Students may use the book.)

3. Grammar Challenge – Students will access the form for this assignment and follow the directions on the form to complete.

4. IXL U.1 – students access their IXL account and complete 8^th grade U.1 (homophones). In order for the assignment to be deemed “complete,” students must score at least an 80 on the assignment.
