Assignments:

All assignments, lessons and needed resources will be posted in TEAMs for this class each week.

Week 4 Robotics & Tech/STEM Assignment: Social Distancing and Technology Evaluation

Recommended time students should work on assignments per day:

20 to 30 minutes for the entire assignment

Basic Parent Directions for the Assignment this Week:

Students will complete a self-evaluation of how they have used technology and how it has benefitted them during this time of social distancing.  The evaluation questions are found in TEAMs under the Week 4 Assignment.  Students will open the document, click on “Edit Document,” complete the form and click “Turn it In.”  Questions must be answered in complete sentences unless asked to list.

Visit with your child about how technology has helped you during this time of social distancing.  Share what it would be like had this occurred when you were in school considering the technology that was available at that time.  Ask them what ideas they have for future technology that might improve social distancing. Before they submit the form, please read over their work and talk about the questions in the assignment.

Due Date(s):

Due by 11:59 PM on Sunday, April 26

Any other helpful information this week for parents:

Due Wednesday April 22-   How to Draw a Daisy

https://instagram.com/alicelovesdrawing?igshid=7x2j58x1ehvy

 Students should find the “how to draw a daisy” video and complete one drawing to post to Edmodo or send to me via email.  School computers will NOT allow access to Instagram, so personal phone or tablet may be used.

An email was sent to students with directions to access and the link above.

If a student cannot access the content for some reason, no points will be lost.

Due Friday April 24-  Envelope Art

Students are assigned a “mail in” piece that includes art on both sides of an old or recycled envelope.  All directions are on Edmodo and were posted last week.

Should be detailed and have a theme of some sort.  Any medium, pencil or marker or both allowed.  If a student does not have access to postage, email or Edmodo posting to turn in assignment is also allowed.
